The Valley of the Kings

Have you ever wondered why King Tut was buried in the Valley of the Kings. What I'm wondering is what the heck is the Valley of the Kings? Well from my resource's (aka Mr. Lewis) I learned that the Valley of the Kings is a secret burial place for pharaohs who want to save the treasure's from very evil people who are called Tomb Robbers (OH KNOW!!!!). Anyway King Tut's funeral was held by Ay, which was his vizer (someone who helps you learn how to become king). The reason Ay chose the Valley of the Kings is King Tut never chose were to be buried, like some pharaohs chose to bulid a pyramid. The sad thing is he died at the age of 18. That's like the age of a new adult.

King Tut's Reign

King Tut's reign was not important because he wasn't king but for only 9 years. The reason he only was king for 9 years is he died at the age of 18 of a brain tumor or he was murdered. The only reason people know about King Tut is his tomb ws the only tomb in Egypt to never get robbed. The famous man to discover the tomb was a English man by the name of Howard Carter. Howard Carter spent 6 years searching for the young king's tomb, until one day a water boy found the steps. The tomb had been buried in debris from a tomb they had been digging at nearby. Carter had found over 5ooo artifacts!!!! If I had stuff like that I would sell it and use it for my personal use (LOLOL).

Daddy,Daddy!!

King Tut did have children. He had two, actually. The one in the pic is one of two arceologist found in his tomb. Some say it's an alien, (creepy). I think this little child (alien) is his daughter who had died at a very young age. I would be sad if my child died at a young age. (TEAR!!!)

Will You Marry Me?

King Tut did have a queen. I'm wondering why he would marry at a young age. Dude if I got married at that young of age I would be super grounded. In the picture over to the right you'll see a pic of King Tut's wife (queen). Her name was Akhesenamon. She was the third daughter of Neffertiti and Akheanten. I also think that she was King Tut's half-sister!!! (EWW!!) Also, she died right before King Tut did. I wonder if there was diesease going around and killing people?

Help! Help us King Tut!!!

King Tutankhamun (aka. King Tut) was very young when he became king. Ya try like 9 years old!!! (LUCKY DUCKY) He was the youngest of 3 brothers and 7 sisters. I can barely handle my older sister let alone 7!!His father was Amenhotep iii, (one of the richest pharaohs). His mother was Tiy(a black princess from a rich city called Nubia). His older brother, Akhenaton, had changed some of the religious things in Egypt. He had made a new god, told the priest's to go home (that's sad) and built a new city when he was king. But then he and the middle brother died while Akhenaton was king. So King Tut got his wish to become king. Though his reign was not important he changed back all the changes his brother made,(religious wise), and tore down the city he made.
